SYSTEM GOLF : It is the on-line, continuous filter designed for GEAR BOX OIL system. It will filter carbon, corrosion products, thick viscous oil etc. & keep the gear oil free of contaminants.
During the operations, Temperature of Gear box oil increases. This leads to degrading it into low boiling components and high boiling components. Low boilers can be easily removed from the system by venting thru breather, whereas high boilers remain in the system as carbon based sludge/ solids. These carbon solids are highly heat resistant. They also make fluid viscous resulting reduction in cooling and lubricating efficiency. They also develop acidity in the system leading to corrosion of system.
System GOLF is a complete system with built in pump, motor, filter and all other accessories such as pressure gauges, on ??? off valves. This is fitted in parallel to the system on side stream basis, hence can be taken on or off without disturbing the normal operations of the gear box.
System GOLF is fitted across the gear box, between the drain port (inlet to the system) and filling port (outlet of the system). The contaminated gear oil is filtered in System GOLF and delivered back to the system through the filling port.
SYSTEM GOLF should be connected across the system as per the schematic diagram attached herewith.
